John Casse to William Casse

State of North Carolina Pasquotank County January the Tenth Day in the 
year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight four  This 
Indenture made the day and year above Written Between John Casse of 
the aforsd. County of the one part and William Casse son of the said John 
Casse as well, for and in consideration of the Natural Love and affection 
which he had and Beareth unto the said William Casse his son and also 
for the better Maintenance and performent of the said William Casse hath 
given granted Eliened Enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth 
give grant Alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said William Casse all that my 
messuage or Tennement of land that I bought of Ephriam Overman also half 
the land I bought of Jeremiah Murden which is thirty acres with all and 
Singular its appurtenances all houses and out houses Land & the reversion 
and reversions remainder and remainders Rents and services of the said 
premises and all the Estate right Title Interest priviledges claims and Demand 
whatever of him the said John Casse aforsd. unto the said Messuage or 
Tenement Land & Premises and of in and to Every part and parcels thereof 
with the appurtinances & all Deeds Evidences and Writings consaring the said 
premises only now in the hands or Custody of the said John Casse or which 
he may get or come by without  suit in Law , to have and to hold the said 
messuage or Tennement Lands and premises hereby given and granted or 
mentioned or Intended to be given and granted unto the said William Casse his 
heirs and assigns to the only purpose and behoof of him the said William Casse 
his heirs and assigns forever and the sd. John Casse for himself his heirs 
Executors and Administrators doth covenant and grant to and with the said 
William Casse his heirs and assigns  by these presents that he the said Wm. 
Casse his heirs and assigns shall and Lawfully may from henceforth hereafter 
peaceably and Quietly have hold occupy possess & enjoy the said messuage 
tenements Lands Hereditements & promises hereby given and granted or 
mentioned or Intended to be with these appertinances free and clear & 
Discharged of and from all former and other gifts grants bargains and Sales 
froffments Jointures Dowers Estates entails rent and rent charges arranges of 
rents and of and from all other Titles Troubles charges and incumberance 
whatsoever had made commited don or suffered by him the said John Casse 
his heirs Executors or Administrators or any other person or persons lawfully 
claiming or to claim by from or under him them or either of them.To witness 
whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and year above Writen~
