Courthouse Reg. of Deeds BK M pg. 28 & 29 William Cassey To Demsey Cassey } This Indenture made the fourteenth day of May Anno Dom 1792 Between William Cassey of the County of Pasquotank and State of No. Carolina of one part farmer & Demsey Cassey of the County of Camden of the other part Hatter Witnesseth the afsd. William Cassey for an Consideration of the sum of one Hundred pounds Current money to him in hand paid by the said Demsey Cassey at the sealing hereof the receipt. Whereof is hereby acknowledged and the afsd. William Cassey therewith fully satisfied Contented & paid have granted Bargained, sold and Transferred & by these present doth fully & absolutely give grant bargain sell Convey Transfer & Conform unto Demsey Cassey his heirs and assigns a Certain Tenement or Tract of land Containing fifty acres. Certain land laying and being in the County of Pasquotank binding on Jesse Dailey’s line the land formerly belong to John Lewis and sold and conveyed to John Casse, & conveyed from him by a deed of Gift to his son John Casse, & Conveyed from him by Deed of Gift to his son John, and now the afsd. William Cassey has sold and conveyed the afsd. Tract of land to Demsey Cassey with all and Singular the Woods and Woods ways paths passages waters & c. with all the Reversions remainders rents and issues with all the profits thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to have to hold the aforesaid bargained premises with all there and every of their appertainances unto him the said Demsey Cassey his heirs Executors administrators & assigns forever to no other Intent or purpose Whatever but to enjoy the same without any Trouble, molestation of me the said William Cassey, my heirs, Executors Administrators or assigns doth Covenant with the said Demsey Cassey, his heirs an assigns to warrant an forever Defend the aforesd. Tract of land free from all manner of Gifts grants Bargains Sales Leases Mortgages Jointers Dowers Indentures Executions and all manner of incumbrances Whatsoever~ In Witness where of I the aforsd.
