Audrey Marie Thomas, died June 21, 2007 in New York City, N. Y. Born on April 
30,1929 in Elizabeth City, N. C. to the late Oscar and Mae Williams. Educated 
in the N. Y. school system and received a Bachelor's degree from Hunter 
College, after which She went to work for New York City Dept. of Welfare. Later 
on, Her interests turned to the broadcasting industry. In 1960, She went to 
work at CBS as a Secretary. She rose to the position of Vice President of 
public relations, after much enthusiasm and diligence. Audrey worked for CBS 
for 24 years. A member of the Black Achievers and 100 Black Women's 
Associations and written up in Ebony Magazine's Who's Who in America. Retiring 
from CBS in 1984, Audrey and Her Husband, John, relocated to Tampa where John 
preceded Her in death. Survivors: Daughter, Rhonda; Son-in-Law, Fred; Sister, 
Shirley; Niece, Tamara; GrandNiece, Robinne; GodDaughter, Delores.
