Charlotte Taylor Moseley ELIZABETH CITY - Charlotte Taylor Moseley, 80, of Elizabeth City, died peacefully at home on January 20, 2010, with her family by her side. Charlotte was born in Kinston, N.C. on March 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Paul and Stella Taylor. She was the widow of Zebulon Vance Moseley Jr. who died in 1987. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Virginia T. Gaskin and Frances L. Katz; and one brother, Paul H. Taylor. Survivors include her four children, Zeb Moseley III and wife Kim, of Elizabeth City, N.C., Linda Moseley Dunn and husband Steve, of Hampstead, N.C., Lisa Moseley Palumbo and husband Sal, of Charlottesville, Va., Anne Moseley Hill and husband Lawrence, of Kinston, N.C.; one brother, Col. Charles H. Taylor, USA (Ret) and wife Jean, of Winston-Salem, N.C. Charlotte had eight grandchildren, Zeb and Taylor Moseley, Blair Dunn Vana, Leigh Dunn Hamm, Richard and Sarah Palumbo and Abby and Heath Hill as well as three great-grandchildren. Charlotte also had many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moseley graduated from Grainger High School and worked briefly at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library. She also was employed by Caswell Center as a physical therapy technician for many years. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Maplewood Cemetery in Kinston, N.C. with Dr. Randy Spaugh officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Anne Hill, 2203 Hardee Road, Kinston, N.C. on Friday, January 22, from 5-7 p.m. The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation for the loving care shown to Charlotte by the staff of Carolina House of Elizabeth City, N.C., Albemarle Hospice, and other caregivers.
