George Theodore Heiselman Jr ~ 2007

George Theodore Heiselman Jr., 65, of 326 Roundtree Drive, Elizabeth City 
Gardens, Elizabeth City, N.C., died Friday morning at his residence. 
Mr. Heiselman was born June 29, 1942, in Bergen County, Garfield, N.J., 
and was the son of the late George Theodore Heiselman Sr. and Grace Prehart
Heiselman. 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. 
He was a electrical mechanic with Lear Siegler, and attended Holy Family 
Catholic Church. 
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Stagnitta Heiselman; his daughter, 
Sherri Cherry of Elizabeth City, N.C.; his son, Arthur Kennedy of Linden, 
N.J.; his grandchildren, Krissy Kennedy, Katie Kennedy, Arthur Kennedy, 
Jeff Nest and Jade Allen. 
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. at Twiford's 
Memorial Chapel with the Very Rev. James Buchholz, V.F. officiating. 
William Clarence Jackson VFW Post #6060 will present military honors 
following the memorial service. The family will receive friends following 
the memorial service in the funeral home lobby. 
Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery. 
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be 
directed to: Albemarle Hospice, P.O. Box 189, Elizabeth City, N.C. 27909. 
Twiford Funeral Home, 405 East Church St., Elizabeth City is assisting the 
Heiselman family with arrangements.
