A number of us have traced our family lines back to one ancestor, GOSHEN CLARK, in
Pasquotank County. His birth or immigration date may be around 1768 and he is said to
have come possibly from Goshen Scotland or England and have been a sailor along the
eastern seaboard. He may have also had a brother named Cornelius. We have Goshen's
children, and have even found him in early censuses. Birth, death, marriage information,
even a christian name would be wonderful. He seems to have been in or around Elizabeth
City.
