State of North Carolina} In the Name of God Amen Pasquotank County } I Dorcas Casse of the County aforesaid being sick and week in body but of sound and disposing(?)mind and memory blessed be God for the same do this fifth day of November one thousand seven hundred and ninty five do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say —- Item I gave and bequeath unto my Brother Thomas Pritchard one suit of Blue Broad Cloathe & one suit of white homespun Cloathe to him & his heirs Item I gave unto my sister Susanah Stafford my Riding Sadel one & half yards of White linnen to her and her heirs Item I gave unto Mary Scott one petty coat marked PS to her and her heirs Item I gave and bequeath to Mathias Madron(Madren?)one striped Cotton Coat & west(waist) coat to him & his heirs Item I gave unto Lutisha (?)Horkins(?) one striped linnen petty coat all that I have not given away before in bequeaths I gave unto Thomas Pritchard Susannah Stafford & Miriam Jackson & Arthur Pritchards Children to be equally divided between them and thir(their) heirs and I do hereby make & ordain my Brother Thomas Pritchard my whole and sole Excutor unto this my last will and testament in witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written David Pritchard Jurat Dorcas Casse [seal] Mathias Madren Mary Stafford Pasquotank County}December Term 1795 Present the Worshipful Justices These may certify that the last Will & Testament of Dorcas Casse was exhibited by Thomas Pritchard sole Executor therein named & proved by the oath of David Pritchard one of the subscribing Witnesses therto in due form of Law & at the same time the said Thomas Pritchard appeared & was qualified by taking the oath prescribed by Law oredered that the Will be recorded & Letters Testamentory issue Recorded in Book L foils __} Test Enoch Reife By Enoch Reife
