Will of Enoch Casse







In the name of God Amen. I Enoch Casse of the County of Pasquotank being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God, do this the 19th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty, make and publish this my last Will and testament in manner following that is to say First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Miriam the whole of all my property both Real and personal during her natural life or widowhood, for the support of herself and my children, who I wish to remain with her. Second, It is my wish that if my wife should marry again that all my Property should be equally divided between her and my children, and that she should receive a childs part to dispose of as she may think proper. third. In case my wife should die without marrying I wish all my Property to be equally divided between all my children share and share alike-— And, I hereby make and ordain my beloved wife my executrix & my son Arthur my Executor to this my last will and testament.
