  THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HUNT EVANS DECEMBER YE 15, 1729 Copied from NC Dept Archives Probate of Wills In the name of God Amen December Ye 15 1729 I HUNT EVANS of the presenct of Pasquotank and province of North Carolina being sick and weak of body but perfect mind and memory preasd be to the allmity God for it. Item. I give and bequeath unto my Brother BARTHOLOMEW EVANS my negro wench named Kate. Item. I give and bequeath unto Brother BARTHOLOMEW EVANS all my (too dark to read) Item. I give and bequeath unto my Brother THOMAS ARMORE or other wise fellow(?) THOMAS ARMORE all my pantantson whare on I now Live to him and his his hires for ever. Item. I give and bequeth unto my Brother THOMAS ARMORE my negro fellow called Tom. Item. I give unto my brother THOMAS ARMORE my gunas(?) gloat of show maker Triler(?) and my ??????? Item. I give and bequeath unto my Brother THOAFLOUIS ARMORE my aead and the furniture belonging to it and a Black horse called Jackey Item. I give and bequeth unto my Cousin RICHARD ???? my young mare(?) Item. I give and bequeath unto my Father in law—LOUIS MARKHAM all the rest of my hole estate both with in and without only I give to my two nigros Tom and Cato and my White Boy Thomas Cranks ????????????????? I ??????my Father in Law LOUIS MARKHAM hole and sole Executor to see all the ?????of this my Last Will and Testement satisified as witnesses my hand this day and date above HUNT EVANS ROBT. NEEL ????
