    Elihu Meads  Born August 28, 1856 in Weeksville, Pasquotank Co.  Died June 4, 1937 in same.  
    Son of George Meads and Margaret Morris, both of Pasquotank.  Elihu's children were:  
    Luna (1/22/1881), Margaret (11/8/1882), Sarah (10/10/1886), Benoni (8/26/1888), Mary (1/1/1890), 
    Alice Gertrude (2/17/1893), Marion Butler (2/9/1895), Jabe B (4/30/1900), James Moody 
    (11/12/1902), Charles Herman "Jack" (9/14/1884)
    
    
    Elihu Meads (info above) and wife Mary Keaton Meads. Mary Keaton was born in Pasquotank December 28, 1863 and died in same May 11, 1931. She was the daughter of Thomas Keaton and Martha Overman, both of Pasquotank.
    I also restore antique/damaged photos and have included a restored version as well, since the original is pretty badly damaged.
    Margaret Hollowell Modlin Brothers. Pasquotank native (December 11, 1862-November 27, 1948). Her parents were William Henry Modlin and Mary John Bundy. Mrs. Margaret Hollowell Brothers Elizabeth City, N.C., Oct. 27 (1948) Mrs. Margaret Hollowell Brothers, 85, wife of the late S. M. Brothers, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ivey Wilson, Elizabeth City Route No. 4, this morning after a lingering illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Pasquotank County, the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary John Modlin and a member of the Newbegun Methodist Church at Weeksville. Mrs. Brothers is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Ivey Wilson, Mrs. G. W. Pendelton, of St. Brides, VA; Mrs. C. H. Meads, of Shawboro; Mrs. G. W. Stevenson, of Washington, D.C.; and Mrs. F. M. Newby, of Elizabeth City; three sons, S. M. Brothers, of Great Bridge, VA; S. C. Brothers, of Virginia Beach, Va., and W. B. Brothers, of Elizabeth City, 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock in the chapel of the Twiford Funeral Home by the Rev. Allen P. Brantley, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
    Stephen Brothers, son of Seth Morgan and Margaret Brothers. I have no further information on him.
